Established in 1992, Team-ing With Success provides a variety of services within the field of organizational and human resource development.  As performance improvement specialists, we can help organizations assess specific needs, evaluate current programs, conduct training sessions, facilitate groups, and conduct market research.  We also provide a line of training books and games, authored by Lorraine Ukens, that are designed to guide leaders in improving performance and to actively engage employees in the learning process.

Lorraine L. Ukens, M.S.    

Lorraine, owner of Team-ing With Success, specializes in team building and experiential learning.  Her business experience, spanning more than 25 years, has been applied in designing, facilitating, and evaluating programs in many different areas.  She has teamed with private companies, non-proft organizations, and government agencies in helping them achieve higher levels of success. She is a highly regarded author of activity resources that make learning interactive and fun.  Lorraine has been interviewed on ExpertRadio regarding her book, Energize Your Audience, and she has presented sessions at a variety of conferences, including American Society for Training and Development), Association for Experiential Education, Center for the Study of Work Teams, North American Gaming and Simulation Association, American Accounting Association, and National Science Teachers Association/Organization for Advancement of Science.  She is included in Who's Who of American Women 2000-2001.  Lorraine received her degree in Human Resource Development from Towson University (Maryland), where she was an adjunct faculty member from 1997-2005.  She has been an active member of both the national and local chapters of the ASTD, serving as President of the Maryland Chapter from 1999-2000.

Leon is a professor emeritus of science education at Towson University (Maryland) in the Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences.  He models the constructivist approach in his classes, workshops, and presentations.  He has been active in the National Science Teachers Association and in many facets of the National Science Foundation.  Leon has directed large scale teacher enhancements grants, given numerous workshops for personnel in educational settings throughout the United States, and has evaluated programs on a local as well as national scale.  His Ph.D. is from New York University.
